Start here: why I built StudiFoca

Welcome to StudiFoca—built for the neurodivergent brain, not against it.

StudiFoca is the app I wish I’d had in college. Back then I lost track of time, forgot due dates and assignment details, and sometimes forgot I had class at all. The tools that were supposed to help mostly assumed I’d remember to use them, which was exactly the problem.

So, I built something different: a low-friction way to keep track of coursework that doesn’t punish you for the way your brain works. It’s designed around how neurodivergent actually operate—hyperfocus, time blindness, working memory that drops information almost as soon as it arrives—instead of treating those as a user error.

These docs cover two things: how to use the app, and why it’s built the way it is. The design decisions behind it are deliberate, and I’ll explain my thinking as we go. For the short version of what StudiFoca does, start with the page What StudiFoca is. If you’d rather just dive into how to use it, head to Using StudiFoca, or Getting Started for a quick start guide.

Also, please note that I am still building this documentation. I am working to make it as complete as I can as quickly as I can.
